The last change to the drive cage is to cut off the fold on the end of the cage. You see it laying on the floor. This was needed to allow the cables to attach to the drives.

The case ready for cutting
the slot for the FD 2000.

I want to add some structure to the
face. The patch piece will be glued
to the inside of the face.

The shape is to allow for the HD
board standoffs. This will also
give backing to fill the hole from
the '71 lever.

The bump is for the recess on
the face. I'll remove it to allow the
FD 2000 board to get close enough.

The patch piece glued in
place with room for the standoff.

Some bondo to fill the
hole and recreate the recess.

This is the approximate placement
of the decals. The hole needed to
be filled and the recess needs to be created.

Just like it came from the factory.
