Here is the bracket to mount the
drive cage to. This design will be
used to mount all the new hardware
in the project.
A shot showing the bracket
temporary clamped in place.
I haven't decided whether to use
another bracket on the other side
of the cage, or to use the same
bracket the '71 used.
Starting layout for the
FD 2000 controller board.
This is where the
FD 2000 board will come through.
Remember the switch
panel for the CMD HD controller?
The plastic face of the D is almost
three time the thickness as the
metal case it was designed for.
These standoffs have have been shortened accordingly.
The momentary switches just protrude out from the face by a 64th inch or so. This gives a nice feel to the switch.
