The Post Office delivered this package of wire sleeving.
I didn't like the first batch of wire I picked up for the power supply.
Here you see the power supply with the first wires removed.
The first batch of wires was house wire. It was very stiff. Here is some automotive wire. It's more flexible. It has more and smaller strands which is better for our DC current.
The 128D's on light is powered directly from the supply. Here, the wires have been extended and covered with heat shrink tubing.
The other option would be to pick up 5V inside the D and calculate the size resistor needed.
The fan is powered by 12V, wired as you see it.
I left extra wire so any strain would not pull on the smaller wires.
